I’ve worked on Prince and Waterfall methodology projects for many years. I’ve been able to use this experience in conjunction with Agile and eXtreme Programming to make the best decisions on the methodology to use for a given project.
Where the requirements are well known and unchanging, Waterfall is often the best methodology to use as it very quickly defines the problems in more detail and highlights areas on contention such as resource allocation.
